Students of Sustainability Conference
July  7th - 11th,  2003,

There will to be a unique and significant event taking place in Adelaide called the national Students of Sustainability Conference (SoS) The Conference is an arena where people who are grappling with issues relating to Environmental and Social Sustainability can come together to  discover, discuss and develop solutions to their concerns regarding the state of our local and global situation. Whether you're a generalist or a specialist, whether you have an environmental, social, economic, or political perspective, you are welcome to attend and contribute to this Conference provided your contributions are equitable, humane and peaceful. SoS is an opportunity for you to explore the realities and solutions of our situation with people from diverse backgrounds and differing experiences, which we hope will strengthen our visions for change

The conference is an autonomous arena where everyone is  invited to contribute to its content either prior to or during the event. The use of traditional Open Space Technologies will be incorporated ie delegates attending the Conference create the content of the lectures,  forums and workshops etc during the week, spontaneously.  However, given the sheer number of people expected at the event.. the  Organising Collective extends an opportunity for people to register their workshop etc prior to the event. This is so that the Open Space presentation and allocation process does not take too long. .For further information and to receive a registration  form to be a delegate or to hold a workshop contact:The Students Association of Flinders University Online: studentsofsustainability.org.au or Ph: (08) 82012614 Additionally if you are able to help volunteer in any way during or prior to the conference contact Tammy-Jo on peacewing@email.com

ALL OF YOU OUT THERE IN CYBERSPACE,
"KEEP UP THE GOOD HONEST WORK"

Dudley Legett stated quite clearly on "Give Trees A Chance" a film by Paul Tait and Jenny  Kendal, that  FORCE WILL NOT WIN THE DAY. Well he was right! With our collective energy over time, we stopped the destruction,  enabled the preservation and regenerated our native forests in the Rainbow Region, NSW, Australia. Its now up to us individually to continue our inter-dependent compassionate,  patient, good work, in creating models in discovering win-win solutions, through our non- violent creative engagement. See you all at the Nimbin Aquarius Celebrations. MAY ALL BEINGS FIND PEACE AND HARMONY Yours Benny Zable Nimbin, Australia
